Workshops

Grades 3–5, 5–8, 3–8

The Workshops are Random Farms most popular program! Kids perform in a musical, hone their skills and everyone gets a chance to shine. The Workshops are appropriate for kids with all levels of experience. The goal is for children to obtain musical theater training while rehearsing for a show. The “process” – especially teamwork and self-esteem – is stressed as much as the “product” – a performance for family and friends.

*CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
We will continue to monitor our programming, and make modifications as needed, based on the current Covid-19 status of our communities and schools.  All of our safety modifications adhere to or exceed CDC guidelines, and we will continue to keep our families informed when the need arises.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

A different show is produced each season:  fall (Sept-Nov), winter (Jan-Mar) and spring (April-June).  Cast size is limited to 24.  Registration begins approximately 2-3 months before the program starts.  Tuition prices are listed on each show’s page (click the show titles listed above). Make sure you join our email list so you get our monthly newsletter with registration start times, as this program often begins to sell out the night it opens.  Please check our summer page for July/August programming.

REGISTRATION

If you have questions about registration, please contact registrationsupport@randomfarms.com.  Click one of the shows above for a full schedule and to sign up.

PARTICIPATION POLICY

In our efforts to be as flexible as possible in this current climate, our attendance policy remains relaxed. While we encourage everyone to attend all rehearsals, during sessions 1-8 and brush-ups, children may be absent when necessary. While shadowing (attending another group’s rehearsal) is not permitted this fall, we will be offering a zoom make-up each Monday to go over material taught the previous week. Anyone who has missed a rehearsal is encouraged to attend.

Children are required to attend and participate in (and may not arrive late to, or leave early from) our two mandatory rehearsals. These rehearsals include the dress rehearsal (session 9), and the final dress/performance (session 10), all of which are marked as mandatory on the rehearsal schedule. Please make sure to double-check your child’s schedule to ensure their availability for these mandatory rehearsals

STANDARD AGREEMENT

Please be sure to read our Standard Agreement prior to registering.

REFUND POLICY

Random Farms is not offering refunds or credits unless we are unable to run the program or your group. In that case, credits and refunds will be available for the full value of the subsidized tuition.
